rocks and hills covered with moss,

now there were citadels of gold and steel.

Here she had stood in another lifetime dreaming

of the conquest of the rugged mountains to reach the land beyond the rocks, the land of freedom and imagination,

set to see a vision arcs and boats off to sail on the sea.

Here she stood now with the horse, watching a manifestation of conquest in the form of citadels of gold and steel.

A formidable fencing between her and the land of her dreams!

What might have been...

But it is no sin to wish for evolution is proof that wishing can make it so...

 When shall we three meet again through thunder, light, and rain?

 The time is set in the scroll on the wall but as sure as the sun rises and sets,

I vouch we'll meet again. Vast deserts will have shifted sand

 and floods of rivers will have overtaken land

by the time we three shall meet again.

Keep your torches burning bright and your food stocks ready and full

for we sure shall be hungry like ravens for the food we are going to share on the heath.

 And what shall we talk about?

We leave the content undefined and the contours vague. 

And mind you, we'll not argue over who's right and who's wrong.

 A merging of three rivers, the rising gorge, the clash of the waters,

 as though a battle is to ensue anon. But never will it be the clash

 of egos and the abrasive words that intend to kill.

When three rivers meet they create a fugue 

that centuries stand by and watch speechlessly.
