Sunshine , Storm, and Peace
The Sunshine , Storms, and Peace
The feel of the sand, crisp and warm,
slipping out of your fingers,
slightly hurting, strangely soft,
the sea watching you like a gallant lover,
from a distance, prudently,
like an ill-tempered man calmed down
in the sudden realisation of love,
all this and more, awaits in life,
an open beach to explore
waves, the rains, the sunshine, storms and peace.

The Sea when quiet, dreams of the corals
The sea, when quiet, dreams of the corals, lying in the timeless deeps.
The sea whenlue, dreams of solitary days and starry nights on the shores,
The sea holds fast the bn, to the memories of a girl, swinging once,
clutching the ropes with all her strength, fearful hopes, tremulous joy.
She, a creature of the land, went back to her home, and the swing is still suspended on the tree. It swings when it hears the deep bass
of the sea dreaming of the corals,
lying in the timeless deeps.

Dhoop chhaonke dhagonse buna
ek jheenasa purdah aapke chehrepar saja hai
betahashha bikher rahi hain.
Asambadhha rekhaonse ban raha hai chitra
toofanme ghire huye dagmagati navonka.
साहसka ek kadam उठाओ;
Seekho, Ya toh

High noon, and shadows fall.
Your face wears a laced veil.
And you at the dock where boats stand
anchored and swaying recklessly.
Tall masts drawn like doodles
and the wind blowing your hair helplessly'.
Your face distraught,
your eyes scanning the path
for the sign of the one you sought
with the madness of the first love.
I am watching you from my vantage ground,
solicitude gnawing at my heart
wondering how long you will stand keeping a watch
for one who may or may not come.
Pick up courage; walk, swim or fly
before they come and clip your wings.

An avocado ripe and green
easily cut into halves,
ready to yield
to the precision cut of the knife
was mounted on the top of the board.
Its pulpy juicy, tangy taste
was going to enhance my salad and soup.
The summer was torrid and hot,
and this avocado was rare for that season.
It was nearing the
end of October
and the feel of summer was lingering still.
The sight of the avocado, voluptuous
rich with the colors of earth,
radiating energy and the green of the soil,
suddenly filled my darkness of the corner
with vibration which ran along hands and body.
the canvas floated before my eyes
and the avocado turned into an object of delight.
Oh the miracles, the moments unexpected,
how they turn the mundane kitchen into a heaven
