The rain just stopped.
The moment of quiet which comes
when the sea recedes,
and draws into the silence intensely.
Reflections shine back.
Companions, soulmates come and walk
alongside me.
The rain, after all, did not fall in vain
upon the tiny umbrella and the vast sea.

I walk in my thoughts
each step taken
evokes new ideas,
every breath of the wind
expanding them.
I open myself
to these new words,
that will form into more new thoughts.
new thoughts that will take me
on more walks.
I’m never alone
as long as my thoughts are with me,
they cuddle and provoke me,
as each thought begets another.
There is comfort in silence,
solace in thinking,
passion in ideas, creation in words
as i walk in my thoughts.

In the cool dark cave lives the moon in my heart.
Like drops of crystals her light falls,
one small glimpse of her life at a time.
In one small drop I live
an aeon of her ancient cycle of being.
There is a crater and a lake,
and a shrine where the secret of the Moon dwells.
On certain nights when the sea
rises to meet the Moon of the cavern,
the tide swells and spins,
and the waters churn forming an abyss
for the Moon to descend and dive in the heart of the restless sea.
A silver obelisk melts
and the light spreads over the gentle ripples.

The beautifully quiet blue
speaks in myriad tones.
The path from the river to the moon
seems so easy and close
that a bird could lift on the wings
and fly straight into the heart of the mystery
pulsating in the sky.
Stay on the shore and stare
at the deepening blue
and it will tell you the story
of how you arrived
at this spot by the river
when you had nothing else to guide
save the song of the deepening blue.

Thanks for the image and the captio which led me on.

There is a path from me to you
that I am constantly looking for,
so I try to keep it clear and still
as water does with the moon

The chilling sand and the winter wind,
and the sunset warming the sky,
is the time to let go of the blues
and quietly watch the sky.
To create such moments one has to work around with a vision,
and once you are there, stay calm
and feel everything that touches you all around.
The sun in the red, the sand biting,
the wind unsettling, and the sparks that flow from the firewood.
The universe wraps you around.
Stay calm and let it speak.
Lonely, isolated, calm,
the universe says,
"You belong."

the universe tells you,
"You belong."

“That is part of the beauty
of all literature.
you discover that your longings
are universal longings.
that you’re not
lonely and isolated from anyone.
you belong.”
  • F. Scott Fitzgerald
