Sometimes the night...

Sometimes the night
transforms the sea.
A damsel , mysterious,
the soul of the oceans and the sea.
yearns to meet the land.
A paper boat child, she sits
on the shore with a gift
for the human mind
with a longing and a message
that she too is sometimes sad
and loves to come to find the land.

The rain that comes...

The reflections and frost,
the rain that comes and brings the things
that lure you most and with the rain
hitting hard on the pavement beyond the window pane,
we know how the soul yearns with every grain
for the thought of the things we love;
the things that run further away.
The secret of the rain is revealed
when you are caught between watching the rain
and not forgetting those things
which you must attend,
lest they get cold like the tea you left and forgot on the window sill.

Sunshine, Flower, and Pages

The sunshine flooding over the face of a flower
is like words gushing forth in a frenzy
on the pages the writer has crafted,
and when the sunshine, flowers and the pages
come and jostle for space in your mind
how would they leave a space for a smile?

The Sunshine , Storms, and Peace

The feel of the sand, crisp and warm,
 slipping out of your fingers,
 slightly hurting, strangely soft,
the sea watching you like a gallant lover,
 from a distance, prudently,
like an ill-tempered man calmed down
in the sudden realisation of love,
all this and more, awaits in life,
an open beach to explore
waves, the rains, the sunshine, storms and peace.

I'll Come Back Soon To Read

I'll come back soon to read,
and when I do,
I want to feel
the warmth of the book,
and feel the freshness of flowers
in the pages that go dry in summer and damp in rains.
I want the sunlight fall in and the candle be left to burn
in the early hours of morn.

Glow of Hope by Suresh Haldankar. The Model: His Daughter

Image may contain: 1 person, sitting

Moments Come

The unexpected and hidden, come camouflaged in the colors,

stealthily, gently, in steps of the shadows

when you thought the sunlight would vanish forever.

The moments come like a chick just breaking out of eggs.

Watch them and hold your breath;

do not touch lest they break.
