The Morning Walks All Over The Forest...

The morning walks all over the forest,

and the forest hums in the voice
of a choir raising the pitch
in a sonorous slow crescendo.
The light is falling on the whitewashed walls.
The waterfront is silent still.
Somewhere away is a boat being rowed.
The morning is waiting with a bated breath.

The Darkfield Here...

The darkfield here and oh so near,

slowly gathers the light.

From here to the farthest edge travels the eye

and halts at the edge where stands the solitary tree.

Life just begins at the touch of the sunbeams cutting a path .

An endless sunlight and the summer sky;

what better moment than this

to wake up and look for your wings?

The time lingers

The time lingers
between the passing autumn and the coming snow.
Branches are busy shaking off the splendour
of the traces of spring and summer glow.
None will come and none will go.
Here a silence reigns.
The trees are listening, straining to hear
the reflection and shadow.
Soon sheets of ice, treacherous, thin,
will cover the landscape and stop the flow.
Winter and ice and a frozen stream
are dangerous beyond the wildest dream,
the dream of the sunshine lost

Paper Boats In Rain

Pages torn off the books of fairy tales,
of bridges built over waters,
of brides and bridegrooms,
and marriages hasty but ending happily ever after,
were what the paper boats made of.
And clouds drawn out of the doodles
with blades, carved over the school desktops,
seasons of rains and snowflake trailed behind.
So many were the trials and and so many endings happy and sad.
The paper boats went off sailing in rain
with the tales of the souls
who unfazed by the broken paths sought the waterways.

Sometimes the night...

Sometimes the night
transforms the sea.
A damsel , mysterious,
the soul of the oceans and the sea.
yearns to meet the land.
A paper boat child, she sits
on the shore with a gift
for the human mind
with a longing and a message
that she too is sometimes sad
and loves to come to find the land.

The rain that comes...

The reflections and frost,
the rain that comes and brings the things
that lure you most and with the rain
hitting hard on the pavement beyond the window pane,
we know how the soul yearns with every grain
for the thought of the things we love;
the things that run further away.
The secret of the rain is revealed
when you are caught between watching the rain
and not forgetting those things
which you must attend,
lest they get cold like the tea you left and forgot on the window sill.

Sunshine, Flower, and Pages

The sunshine flooding over the face of a flower
is like words gushing forth in a frenzy
on the pages the writer has crafted,
and when the sunshine, flowers and the pages
come and jostle for space in your mind
how would they leave a space for a smile?
