Ambar ki ek paak suraahi
A sip of wine: and the moonshine,
I drank it from the unblemished sky.
I incurred blame, if not wrath.
A debt I cannot redeem..
I borrowed a portion of measured time
and made a garment for the whole of life.
I incurred displeasure if not wrath
There is nothing of mine in what I did.
Whatever I did be of God's will,
and that is all I have to return to God.
I incur no loss if not God's favor.
