Tonight I opened the window
to look for you in my narrowing sky.
I rushed ; I knew I got late;
I was either too early,
or too late.
When I scoured the patch where you wait for me
sometimes behind your aura,
covered by clouds,
sometimes hurrying past'
and lucky to have a glimpse of me as you couldn't wait long
for the laggard such as me.
Tonight they said you were going to come
in all your splendor,
and woe me, I missed the destined hour.
Hence tonight
in my sleepless hours
I will carry your image,
you too sad,
but never angry.
Super Moon,
sorry, both, my heart and my sky
are shrinking.
Tonight as you slide below the line
forgive me, but do not forget.
The next full moon night
I will be there.
