 A Fleeting Moment

On a calm and weary afternoon
I saw her from my seat in a running bus,
she, her back turned to the busy street,
and she about to enter the coffee shop.
A humble placard at the entrance said,
as if an invisible entity was saying there,
"Come in, we are open"
In a flash of a moment our vibes matched,
a warm afternoon, a weary girl,
she in need of a coffee,
I in a hurry to reach home.
And everything rolled
into a fugue, some notes were playing on piano,
Informal, cordial, intriguing, sweet.
