 The rooftops lined in a row,

seen from a vantage point,

which a while ago were basking

in the declining shaft of sunlight,

now turn into silhouettes and masses of shadows;

the moment that sheds light on our life and its songs,

its message to the self and the soul.

The time to go easy on all that we are,

which is a part of now,

just like the sky and the lavender light.
