 A Quiet Rain

Drop me a quiet rain.
Drip, drip like the rain of a fabulous night
walking in the rain, running, running
on the pavements darkened and grey..
Shine, shine on the streets of stone.
Shine, shine as I walk on them.
Dark grey passers-by,
they drift like clouds skating the sky.
I look for faces hidden,
hidden behind the screen of fog.
Everyone leaves, everyone scurries,
Everyone is changing, chasing dreams.
Drop me a quiet rain,
bright as the day falling on stones.
I'll catch it in my palms and let it flow
until my fingers chill and turn into ice.
Let the dreamy green smile of rain
spread across the fields, and meadows
Drop, drop me a quiet rain.

Just start typing on the keyboard. I can't write with a pen and paper. Don't force yourself to think. Just flow. Let some song play at the back of your mind.

Beautiful Sushama Karnik But, I am not sure if a lite dripping rain is pleasurable or busty pouring rain. The sound of a gusty pouring rain, is very soothing , if you afford to just sit and watch , and may be snack on hot coffee with Pakoda's.
